WHO ARE WE?
Hive Energy Consulting is a small, family-run energy consultancy based in Navan, Co. Meath. Hive was born from a clear need for technically accurate, compliance-led energy assessments combined with practical advice and structured support.

We provide Building Energy Ratings (BER), detailed Home Energy Assessments (HEA), energy efficiency guidance, SEAI grant advice to homeowners, and business support services for installers — delivering both technical expertise and dependable administration under one roof.

Hive was founded by Colin Greene, who proudly leads the company as a qualified SEAI-registered BER assessor and Technical Advisor. With over 30 years of experience in the Irish industry, his extensive knowledge of building fabric, energy systems and compliance standards ensures every assessment is carried out with technical expertise and practical knowledge.

Supporting our operations is Esther, an experienced office manager with over 20 years’ experience delivering structured systems, compliance and exceptional client service's. Her hands-on approach and in-depth understanding of the SEAI grant process means clients always know where they stand and feel supported throughout the process.
